Hi everyone!
Today students took a new approach to their vocabulary tasks in order to a) learn the words for the week and b) prepare them for this week’s activities.
We were back in our Google Classroom and students had 3 vocabulary tasks to complete prior to the block ending. These tasks centered around student exposure to our vocabulary words in a variety of ways including video/media, text and chart analysis and a summative assessment.
Through one of our many Google Classroom tools used, students were given multiple opportunities to correct their work and ensure they met our 85% mastery standard before the end of the block. It was a pretty cool to witness and totally promoted learning.
Today, students also received their weekly homework sheets. Click on the WEEKLY HW menu (here) to find an extra copy. Students will be expected to return to class tomorrow with their vocabulary flashcards completed for the words below.
