Topics covered include foundational principles of cell organelles and their function. This is a great way to introduce students to organelles as well as give them multiple opportunities to practice their knowledge in various ways.
There are so many ways to use these resources! A few classics include:
- Gallery Walk: Print and hang posters around the room and have students walk around to record their notes in the student notes chart.
- Station work: Print the posters and slide them into sheet protectors for students to complete a set of organelles (i.e. 2-3 organelles per station) and rotate around to complete their notes.
- Independent work: Give students the opportunity to complete any portion of these pages independently and then have them self-check their own work and make corrections using the printed answer keys.
*NOTE: Using these items digitally? The maze pieces are movable and for easy student completion! The digital versions are great for our LMS or students in a remote/virtual setting.
